Black Girls Code - Black Girls Code is an organization that aims to provide African-American youth with the skills to occupy some of the 1.4 million computing job openings expected to be available in the U.S. by 2020, and to train 1 million girls by 2040. They have online events and hackathons that cost money but students may be able to obtain scholarship.
Code Academy - Courses on Python, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, iQuery, Ruby and API. Highly recommended!
CodeHS - Starts with a toy language, Karel, and then moves up to JavaScript
Code Avengers - HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Code Combat - A game based computer science program where students type real code and see their characters react in real time

ThoughtSTEM - Based in San Diego, ThoughtSTEM is an educational company that offers various after-school programs, summer camps, and UCSD Extension classes for ages 8 - 18
ID Tech Camps - The camp is held at UCSD with a variety of courses for teens
Lego Robotics Summer Camps - A way for students to learn valuable, real-world technology skills through fun and engaging projects (All camps for younger students include a small LEGO kit to take home!)
The Coder School - Provides summer camps and weekly after school programs that run throughout the year giving kids the coding practice they need

Tutors
